She was a joy to know and will be missed greatly. Her family and friends fondly recall her ability to make any trip an adventure, everyday anything but ordinary, and the time spent together a memory to cherish. Survivors include her husband of thirty-four years, Robert Sasser sisters, Lori Corbello of Nederland and Linda Pray and her husband, Keith, of Brandywine, Maryland nephews, Kyle Corbello of Nederland Thomas Pray and Tiani McCarthy of Silver Spring, Maryland Christopher Pray and his wife, Amber, of Manassas, Virginia Jerimi Smart of Galveston and David Smart of Austin sister-in-law, Susan Beck of Beaumont many other family members and friends and her beloved fur-babies, Madi and Mia Bella. Pam was a member and past president of The Spindletop Stitchers and was also a member of The Embroiderer’s Guild of America. She always looked forward to warmer weather and spending time in their pool. Pam lived life to the fullest, enjoying her many interests such as traveling with her husband, Bob, reading, tole painting, basket weaving, needlework, and taking walks on the beach searching for sea glass. She attended Lamar University prior to her twenty-two-year career with Gulf States Utilities/Entergy and then with Spindletop MHMR for another twelve years, before retiring. Pam was a 1972 graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur. She was born on December 9, 1953, in Port Arthur, to Mary Helen Landry Luquette and Joseph Marshall Luquette. It is the first game in the Mia's Big Adven. Pamela Anne Luquette Sasser, 69, of Lumberton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
